Amber Terrace Dreams

Broad melodic figures punctuated by rhythmic accents in the woodwinds and percussion help Amber Terrace Dreams celebrate the drive to fulfill students' hopes and dreams and is dedicated to the teachers who help make those dreams a reality.

Program Notes

Amber Terrace Dreams was commissioned by the Amber Terrace Intermediate Band in DeSoto, Texas, Kimberly Kriston and Karen Blake, directors.

Amber Terrace Intermediate School is located on the corner of Amber and Terrace Streets. Representing a crossroads of dreams and hopes, Amber Terrace Intermediate as well as all secondary schools instill upon their students the knowledge and willingness to succeed in each of their lives and in their own way.
