The ever energetic Ellipsis features a balanced ensemble of keyboard and battery percussion. In fact, every player in the ensemble has the opportunity to play a battery instrument at some point.
Program Notes
Ellipsis: A mark or series of marks (...) that usually indicate an intentional omission of a word or a phrase from the original text. An ellipsis can also be used to indicate a pause in speech, an unfinished thought.
Ellipsis was commissioned by the middle school ensembles of the Spring Independent School District in Houston, TX.
