“Veni, Creatus Spiritus” is one of the best known Gregorian chants. The beauty of the melodic line lends itself to presentation in a variety of styles. This tone poem is a very accessible, yet serious piece of music with appeal to both players and listeners. The impact on the audience is powerful, yet the technical demands of the piece are within reasonable limits.
