For I Believe

For I Believe was commissioned in memory of Jennifer Smith, a choral student at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. At Jennifer's parents' request, the biblical text is:

"For I believe that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor anything in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our lord."
