Jumpin’ June is a quick, straight-ahead swinger featuring the sax section followed by a baritone sax solo (written-out or improvised). Next comes a contrapuntal “conversation” between unison saxes, trumpets, and trombones, then a short piano solo, more “conversation”, and finally a crisp shout chorus out. Fun to play!
