The purpose of Percussive Carols is two-fold: 1) to create more performance opportunities for percussionists during the holiday season, and 2) to infuse a contemporary percussive feel to traditional European Christmas carols that date back as far as the 13th century! ¥ All solos are intended for a 4.3-octave marimba, but several may be played on bells, xylophone, or vibraphone. (indicated below and at the beginning of each solo)

¥ All solos can be played with either 2 or 4 mallets, depending on your technique. Just follow the simple instructions.
