Wizard's Quest

Wizard's Quest is a dark and driving work for developing string orchestra. The energetic E-minor melody depicts the adventure of a quest in Medieval times—imagine the non-stop action of a Wizard determined to win against all odds. An optional drum part adds to the medieval sound and could portray the Wizard's magic wand. Students and audiences alike will enjoy the adventure!

Program Notes

Wizard's Quest is a dark and driving work for developing string orchestra. The energetic E-minor melody depicts the adventure of a quest in Medieval times—imagine the non-stop action of a Wizard determined to win against all odds. There is a slower section in the middle to help younger students develop tone and give the second violin section a chance to shine. Then, the faster melody returns as the quest continues. An optional drum part adds to the medieval sound and could portray the Wizard's magic wand. Students and audiences alike will enjoy the adventure!
