Morning Star

Based on five poems of Gary Snyder, Morning Star paints a beautiful picture of his words: The Morning Star, Shaman Song, Pine Tree Tops, Birds, and The Myth. Each movement incorporates unique techniques for both the voice and the vibraphone, such as pitch bending, manually controlling the resonator fan with one hand while playing with the other, and spoken word.
