Based on an original text and melody by Reber Clark, One Hundred Years of Light takes the listener on a journey through several moods and textures ending on a note of glory and majesty, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the school that commissioned the piece.

Program Notes

One Hundred Years of Light was commissioned by the Clayton High School Music Department of Clayton, Missouri under the direction of Charles Blackmore, Director of Bands on the occasion of Clayton High School’s one hundredth anniversary.
